The etek motor in the 15' electric launch is built by briggs & stratton for robots and small electric vehicles. it will handle 12-48 volts and will produce a maximum of 8 hp at about 4000 rpm. in the boat it is setup with a 4:1 reduction and running 24 volts rpm at the prop is about 450.. Power: electric dc motor commonly used on golf carts operating on deep cycle storage batteries connected in a series to provide 24-36 volts. propulsion: two types of systems can be used. (1) the "electric drive", (described in the catalog), utilizes the lower unit of an outboard motor coupled to an electric motor..
